Here is a neat Proof Indian Head Cent! The obverse
color is orange/red with heavy cameo contrast. The reverse is a lustrous
brown with hints of purple highlights. $325 -- Sold
Beautiful Red Cent with highly
reflective mirror like fields. Looks bright and flashy in hand. If you use
high power magnification (like a loupe or large photo) you can make out a
faint trace of haze. There is a small strike through on the lower reverse
and a planchet divot in the center of the O in ONE. Those last two minor
issues are as minted so should not affect the grade. I had this coin pegged
at PR 64 RD minimum and am not sure why PCGS didn't agree. $85
1942 PCGS PR 62 Red
Beautiful Red Cent with highly
reflective mirror like fields. Looks bright and flashy in hand. It toned
light copper by the rims and under the date with more orange in the centers.
There is a toning line on the reverse. I grade this coin higher, again I am not sure why PCGS didn't agree. $75

1943-S PCGS MS 67
Here is another immaculate steel War Cent.
This is a great price for the tougher San Francisco mint "steelie."
In
1943 the US Mint used steel to mint cents to conserve copper for use in the
war effort. $125
1944-S NGC MS 67 Red
In 1944 Lincoln cents were made from shell
casings recycled from the war. This example has excellent cartwheel luster.
$40
1946-S PCGS MS 66 Red
I like the look of this lustrous Cent. $40
1963 NGC PF 69 Cameo Red
